Existing renovated store-front church undergoes acoustical sweetening and new audio system installation.
Calvary Chapel is located on the far north side of Spokane in Washington. Their facility is a converted storefront with the main sanctuary seating about 1,200 people. The floor is sloped, and the ceiling is low overall. The sanctuary is a rectangle used by width - that is, the room is much wider than it is deep. All of the wall surfaces were originally flat which created flutter echoes and other strong reflections to various parts of the seating area and back onto the platform. The audio system was a distributed speaker system that lacked even coverage and clarity.
For the acoustics, diffusive panels and bass traps were built and installed.
The audio system was replaced with new speakers and amplifiers.
The final room sounds great, the finished audio system fills the room with evenly with high-quality sound.
