Vicksburg First Baptist Church
Vicksburg, MS
Existing facility repairs sanctuary, upgrades audio, video and lighting systems.
| Above - Original sanctuary condition. The audio system was around 40-years old and thus, for speech only. The video projection system was temporary only, and the screen partially blocked the organ speakers. |

| Above - At the rear of the sanctuary, under the balcony. This small, low-ceiling space was just big enough to be acoustically different than the rest of the room. |
| Above - Original sanctuary, view of the balcony and rear walls. A severe slap echo could be clearly heard off these large, flat surfaces. |
| Above - The balcony rear wall was framed, diffused, and upholstered with acoustically transparent fabric. |
| Above - Diffusion was added to the lower rear walls on the main floor and the front face of the balcony. |
| Above - Finishing the paint on the speaker suspension brackets. The bracket system was designed by an engineer working with the church to complete the repairs and renovations. |
| Above - Side wall diffusion being installed in the balcony. |
| Above - Just-hung balcony face diffusers. |
| Above - Prelude for the first service back in the completed sanctuary. |

| Above - The new electric screen is hidden in an all-new casing built just above the dual columns on either side of the baptismal opening. |
| |
| Above - Confidence screen on the rear balcony wall for those on the platform. |
| Above - One of four new "slugs" located under the front platform steps to add new mic and monitor jacks. |
| Above - Hidden from the congregation, the monitor patch panel allows any monitor mix to be routed to any platform monitor jack quickly and easily. |
| Above - The new main speaker cluster, including a monitor for the choir. Not shown is a fill speaker for the balcony. |

| Above - New video projection control system. |
| Above - Dual-stacked projectors were used for the main screen to provide the foot-lamberts required due to the screen size, natural light from the windows and uncontrolled architectural and platform lighting. |
