Existing facility was in need of acoustical sweetening and audio system upgrades.

Above - Original platform and front wall. With four manuals, 58 stops, 85 ranks and over 4,700 pipes, the Reiger organ remains the largest mechanical tracker action pipe organ in the Western United States. (As of 2006)

Above - Original side walls; they are concrete with an accordian shape.

Above - Original rear wall and balcony. The balcony is on "stilts" only; it is not attached to the building at the sides or rear.

Above - New main floor speaker clusters as seen from the balcony; the main floor is covered by an L-C-R system. The imaging is good for over 90% of the main seating.

Above - Rear wall acoustical diffusion. Due to the design of the room, the balcony sounds different than the main floor seating.

Above - Rear and side wall diffusion.

Above - Under the balcony. Due to the design, this area sounds totally different than the main floor seating ahead of the balcony; in the main seating area, the ceiling peaks at 60-feet, under the bacony, the ceiling is less than 15-feet at the front, and becomes higher at the rear.

Above - To provide even sound coverage left-to-right and front-to-back under the balcony, three rows of fill speakers were installed.
